 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor shortly after immigrating to the United States. In AT&T commercials she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in the year 2020. Apart from her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub, an Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and she fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles within the family, she started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she dropped out and got a GED. She continued to get the Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
